I don't know what else could be the problem but I think this may be a virus. I was using it the other day and my virus protection, promted me and told me that it was trying to axcess my internet and I was recomended to block it. It sucks too cause I paid for this program but I paid over the internet and it uses paypal as a payment so I thought it was safe cause I trust paypal. Anyone who knows anything about this program, please help me.

XoftSpy SE isn't a virus. It's a nice program for finding spyware / adware on your computer. I use the professional version of it on all the computers at my office to keep malware from infecting the network.

If you paid for it, contact their technical support.

From what I could find this is not a virus. It is probably trying to access the Net to see if there are any new updates at regular intervals and you will need to unblock it so it can do it's job. Check the settings of the program and read the help file to find out how/when it updates. Paypal is merely a money transaction service. It is not their responsiblity to check everyone who sets up an account to find out everything about them. It is up to users to report bad sites so they can be investigated.
