Before you answer, read this:

John 1
The Eternal Word
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it.

Yes. That scripture you quoted tells alot. In Genesis, God said, Let US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness. Also, refer to I John 5 : 7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Jesus was never born.

The earliest Christians writings show Jesus to be a spiritual being, following the story of the books of Enoch, where the Son of Man is victorious in the spiritual domain, and simultaneously acts as the intermediary between a corrupted creation and an unapproachable god.

The 'word' as translated in English, is Logos in the original Greek (yes, it was written originaly in Greek, not Aramaic). Logos did not simply mean "word". It was a mystical concept in the first/second century, which referred to the practice of reading between the lines of ancient scriptures to come up with new 'revelations'.

You correctly answered your own question with the verses you quoted. Go back to that same passage and read vs. 14.

John 1:14

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

That Word that was made flesh was Jesus. Which means Jesus did exist before He was born on this earth.

Yes and Yes.

Also, Jesus himself told us that he existed before he was born. For example, Jesus said "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am" (John 8; also see John 10 and 14).
