you can find a lot of great honey recipes by going to www.foodnetwork.com and typing honey into the seach box... also a great snack or pair with dinner is fried honey biscuits...relativly easy and you can gelp him with it...its a great family activity
Fried Honey Biscuits
1 can pillsbury biscuits
honey in piping bag
peanut or good frying oil

first heat enough oil in a cast iron skillet NOT pot and add enough oil so than its a bit less than halfway up. Once oil is heated (ready when a drop of water sizzles in oil) drop biscuits in oil and flip after about 2 minutes or until golden brown. place on paper bags to drain. once cool enough to touch, pipe honey into biscuits and serve. Enjoy.
i hope your son likes it!

My little boy and I take graham crackers and place a slice of bananna on top then drizzle on honey. It's taste good. Better yet it is simple enough that he can do it all by himself.
