Don't give up yet, and stop beating yourself up. I'm sure if it was a bet she would still get numbers of guys she really was interested in, then she wouldn't of gave you the right number. Think of it like this if her number is busy for you then it's busy for all the other guys too. She probably didn't pay her bill, on-line or on the phone she'll call you if you don't reach her.

Keep trying - she maybe on the Internet or work shift work of something.
I'd say after a week that if you have not got through then I think that the number is a phony!!
