Do you think our Lord would leave us with an incomplete Word ? One that anyone could mock and rip apart ? You havent read the scriptures enough. He said his Word is eternal, never ending...He IS the Word of God..to destroy it is to destroy Him...Ha! Let me tell you this my brothers and sisters...He is regal, he is beautiful, He is all together lovely and beautiful..He is Jesus..our Lord and Blessed One...He stands in His throne in crucified position...and he looks on us ....among the children of men...and He has not allowed anyone to mock Him...He is silent at times..to let the mockers finish...and then just one smile of His shining face...and the whole planet will fall before Him in worship...wait and adore Him...ask Him to shine His face on you and make you faithful...and you will drink of the rivers of His pleasure.....Gal 6:7

Gen 1:1 - Ps 23:6

GOD, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. 2 You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from.
3 True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.
4 Even when the way goes through Death Valley,I'm not afraid when you walk at my side.Your trusty shepherd's crook makes me feel secure.
5 You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head;my cup brims with blessing.
6 Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life.I'm back home in the house of GODfor the rest of my life.

"God is dead" -Nietzsche

Forever spinning the wheels of the Dharma. Well your belief in the Lord has not left you. If there is a light in heaven, it is shining onto your eyes.

Life is like a milkshake. Some like chocolate, some like strawberry. No matter the flavor, the sweetness is still the same. I think I discussed that with someone once.

In answer to your question, I do not believe God has left me. I don't. There never was a creator to have parted from me. That's what I think. I don't have a sister, therefore my sister never left me, because she never existed.

"For seriousness seeks to exclude play, whereas play can very well include seriousness." Is God playing? Playing hide and seek? Is God being serious? Seriously absent? Or just watching because God knows? Or is it that an immanent God could never leave us --The world is divine, and we are part of it. What about the Olive Flower Girl?

that's depending on the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that's accessible to all Christians, and is likewise obtainable to anybody who will receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior ( Romans 10:9-10 ). without Jesus, there is not any faith to receive God's therapeutic. The note of God heals us ( Psalm 107:20 and Isaiah fifty 3:4-5 ).

"Do you think our Lord would leave us with an incomplete Word ? One that anyone could mock and rip apart ?"

This is my point exactly. And being that the Torah, Bible, Qur'an and whatever are so incomplete and easily mockable, I have no choice but to believe that they are the word of man...

It's all the evidence I need.

If HE is the word, then some ancient collection of books is NOT the word, unless of course, you consider that colection of books as your lord.

Early Christians would be aghast to see that people today call the Bible the Word - a title originally reserved for Christ.

YOU NEED A REAL BIBLE.. Jesus SITS at the right hand of the Father. He is NOT in crucified position! But if you want to keep reading and believing "per-versions" of the bible, go ahead. You are playing right into Satan's hands. It's called APOSTASY.

I think that the bible is only a part of the puzzle, and that the other books not found untill recently complete the puzzle.

umm.. if god was loving, dont you think he might have taken jesus off the cross and allow him to sit in his throne instead of being propped up like an umbrella? i mean, that just seems logical to me. and really i dont want to drink of the rivers of anyones pleasure. thats just gross.
