I have a small cut on my toe that sounds very similar to yours. (It also depends on very specific conditions, but I am recommending something for small cuts or sores.) Yours is probably bigger, but if you are not that concerned, you should wipe it with a *SKIN BARRIER WIPE* (I do not know if this is available to people who are not nurses (I am not one, but my mom is, and I have learned a lot from her.) ) You should keep it covered during the day, but while watching tv or reading a book, let it air out a bit once a day. If the irritation persists, I would recommend contacting your physician. I am 13, but I do know a lot about nursing and basic first aid. I would really love to become a surgeon or someone in the medical field. I hope your cut heals, and that you can stop any infections!

The only knife that doesn't cut your skin is a dull knife.

I have used such a knife when skinning a deer. Don't buy it. If a knife won't cut skin it is no use.
