It lists a variety of vegetables, but, YES, it is loaded with Sodium. I Would not recommend anyone to drink it as part of their diet on a steady basis, unless they wanted to retain vasts amount of water and swell like a balloon!

Salt doesn't block nutrition. But too much salt is not good for the body but doesn't remove vitamins or nutritional value from food.
Eating whole, fresh veggies & fruit is the best. But, V-8 can help you get some of the vitamins that you need. Try the low salt version of V-8, much better, especially if you have high blood pressure.

Not if you have high blood pressure. But then you should also watch any processed foods... especially canned soups because they're very high in sodium.

I don't think it will "block" but the sodium is detrimental itself. Especially if you have high blood pressure like I do.

Does it have "high fructose corn syrup" in it? If so, run. It may have vitamins but the preservatives ruin any good that you might reap.

base of tomato juice has tons of vitamins & lycopene which fights cancer. v8 also has other vegetable juices, with their own antioxidants. very good for you, esp if you don't like veggies much otherwise.
