Get plenty of sleep. Drink lots of water. Eat nutritious foods low in caffeine and sugar. Fruits are good. Get a little exercise. Light exercise is good. Try to put yourself on a regular schedule where you sleep, eat, and exercise at the same time everyday. Don't worry about things that you don't have any control over. Just try to do the simple things that you can control. Go to church. Some people may not believe it but I don't care. The things that you can learn in church are good for your spirit. I wish you the best.

I would suggest some type of relaxation - I go to the park and I
taped the water as it ran in the creek - I play it when I am stressed and it helps me relax. Put on some soft music and just lay down & relax.

Are you on meds? Maybe that will help if you are not.

Shift your focus from you to the next thing - a hobby, music or
whatever makes you happy - do that & see what happens...

Depends on what type of stress. For the stress we have control over...it is all about choices ( don't answer the phone, walk away or don't get involved ) For the stress we can not avoid... walking is great ( good for all over health) breathing ( nice cleansing breaths ) aromatherapy also works. Then there is always therapy...what ever works for you.

Hypnosis worked wonders for me in the stress area. Another highly recommended stress reliever is to meditate a couple of times a day; it works.

Recovery, Inc. has tool that work really good to lessen the symptoms of anxiety. They're on the web now, I believe I saw them- they can tell you if there's a group in your area. You have to go on a regular basis for awhile to learn to use the tools.

i suffer from anxiety and use breathing exercises and deep muscle relaxation techniques.mind u,you have to practise the deep muscle relaxation techniques for sometime before they start working(requires discipline but once u master them they are very effective).i am not sure of a specific site where u can find them but u can't miss them if u use the search engine(try google).good luck.
