I'm no professional but I think it would take more than 30 minutes a day because its walking speed. Jogging or running for 30 minutes a day 5 days a week would lose the weight pretty fast. Of course you need a healthy diet as well as a good exercise or its useless. Running + McDonalds = No energy = No weight loss

According to bodybuilding website, walking isn't rigorous enough to make a significant difference in weight loss but they tell people to do that since it is easy. Many celebrities run an hour everyday to stay thin. That is rigorous.
It is mostly NOT your fault, that you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) soon surpassing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).

Probably not by the end of the month. You need to do some kind of cardio such as dancing, aerobics, etc. Walking is certainly a good thing you can do for your health, but it won't give you any fast results with weight loss.

It is very hard to answer your question without knowing your diet and exercise plans. How many lbs you'll loose depends on how many calories you take in and how many calories you expand. It also depends on macronutrient ratios in your daily nutrition.
