Chrisatans just hate the muslims because they thought of the fatwa first. Now chrisatans have to rely on other ways to kill people who believe differently than them... like electing republican presidents.

I am muslims. There is no compulsion in religion, but remember, Islam tell us to do anything in Holy Qur'an. If you are Muslim, It is only your way. To simply this, you can think like this.

There are 2 kingdom, Fire Kingdom and Water Kingdom. They is fighting and make a war. Someday, there is a man that from Wind Kingdom. He wants to go to other Kingdom. He can go to Fire Kingdom, but he will killed if he move to Water Kingdom by Fire Kingdom.

So, Islam tells no compulsion in religion. Islam only doesn't want to see someone change his religion very easily, because if that is happen, Religion will be played. If you are know many about Islam, you will know Islam is sweet. They never hurt other people. All religion must tell about truth. Muslims seldom critcise other religion. There are only a miss-communication.

you cannot force anyone to convert. however, why do you kill someone for treason?

shouldnt it be more so when it's a religion?

also, if you look at the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). when He was in Medina, jews would enter Islam and then leave it the next day.. making it seem to others that "what type of religion is this, where people convert one day and leave it the next" - that's what the jews at that time were trying to do.

So the Prophet Salallahu alayhi wa sallam told them that the ruling for the one who leaves Islam, will be death. and no one after that day did that.

wallahu alem (and Allah knows best)

I have seen Muslims closely. Unfortunately the West has been given the idea that its the inherent problem with a faith. Suicide, death rates from murder, robberies, rape are more prevelant in USA than in any muslim country. Do we ascribe our shortcomings and moral degradation to christianity? No. As such neither religion preaches intolerance. The evils present in a society are the results of social forces and poverty. For example in one of the largest muslim majority countries, Pakistan, the rampant killings and murders have increased in past thirty years. Its not the religion but the human evil which is making the lives of peace loving people harder by day. As such Islam doesn't believe in either killings. In fact the scriptures proclaim ." if you take one life its equal to killing the entire human race." It was the only religion which in Spain (700 - 1400 A.D) cultivated academics, arts, science, philosophy and theology which became the basis of modern day renaissance movements. The ship which enabled Columbus to discover americas had navigation by the Muslims of andulasia (today's Spain). It was a dynasty of peace, tolerance and love among Jews, Christians and Muslims themselves. Two world wars and atomic bombs have not been fought by the followers of this religions which in Arabic means "peace". Fatwa is a decree by clergy which is only given in cases of interpersonal problems and disputes and is never a problem for society in general. No fatwa in past 1400 years have made anyone start any evil thing. As we all love to purify and cleanse our souls by reading bible and going to church, they do so by going to mosques. Do we have to hate people for doing that.

That's an interesting question. Though not a Muslim I have heard of Christians doing similar things. Buddhists seem to be pretty laid back. I'm wondering if they are God's chosen people. Buddhists are not saying, I bet they just don't want to brag.

Joey - and how do you find things different from the ganglands in the US ? To each his own.

The irony of all religions is that when Jesus or Mohammed said "go spread my word" or " convert unbelievers" they did not mean to go to someone who has another faith and to convert them. They meant - convert people who do not believe in God to the path of God - not necessarily their own version of God !!!

Man's tiny and stupid and more so selfish brain is the reason for so much blood shed.

Whether it is the Church of the Christians or the Mullahs of ISLAM - they intend to dominate politically in the name of religion and the best way they see to resolve conflict is to change the interpretation of God's words to suit their means.

Muslims do not critcise other reglions because there are passages in the korans that states that i do not bother your relgion you do not bother mine. I believe alot of what you see on tv is not the whole truth why are muslims scrutinized for everything they do while it is okay for the whole world to put injustice and people seem to forget. plus why would you want to leave islam? why do you want to leave the truth!
