Okay I get alot of slack because I like to eat pizza with a fork and not my fingers?????????

I eat hot dogs with a fork. Don't worry about what others think. Be yourself.

Yes. When pizza is really hot, eat it with a fork. But I start to use my hands when it cools. Its really the best of both worlds. Pizza tastes different with a fork for some reason.

I love to eat pizza with a fork, but I catch a lot of slack too. Don't worry about it though, just do what you want to do. I won't let anyone tell me what to do, and how to eat pizza is a pretty basic form of personal liberty.

For me, it depends on how hot the pizza is. If it's fresh out of the oven, i always use a fork and knife. But if it is cooler - and rigid enough to pick up - i will often eat it Italian style.
The day society deems it inappropriate to eat food with a knife and fork is a sad day indeed.
Except for soup. If you eat soup with a fork people will laugh at you, and be right in doing so.

Yes. Especially if your hands are filthy or you do not have access to a sink or napkins to wipe the grease off your fingers when you are finished. If these other people don't care about sanitary conditions and good hygiene, then too bad for them. One day they may acquire explosive atomic dyssentary from eating fecal coliform bacteria that was stuck to their fingers while they ate pizza.
Generally speaking (in Western cultures) hors d'oeurves are what you eat with your fingers. The main dish is supposed to be eaten with proper utensils (salad fork, lobster fork, etc).

It is more socially acceptable to eat pizza with a fork in a dignified way, than to eat pizza with your hands and be sloppy about it.
It isn't a technical matter, but a manners and appearance matter.
If you are eating in private, alone, be a slob if you want. But, don't take that habit out into public.

I eat most everything with a fork...I have this thing where I have to cut everything up also...I don't know it just seems to work better than shoving a whole chicken into my mouth, you know? but yeah people look at me strange when I start cutting into my pizza. I don't care i'm not the one with cheese sticking to the side of my face.

I eat pizza everyday and I think that anyway you want to eat it is all right. I have never heard that there is a correct or wrong way to eat a pizza. Some people fold it up and eat it like a sandwich. Who cares, as long as we are enjoying pizza!
