Importance is not about cost. It is about having the prescription filled properly and seeing clearly. I have purchased $500 glasses from my optometrist as well as $100 from a store. The store bought ones were fine and lasted just as long. Don't let the eye doctor fool you into spending the kind of money they charge!!!

It really depends. If you are either sorta young or really old you might want the cheap ones because your eyes will change soon. however, if you will have the same perscription for a long time, you may want glasses that last. it really depends how long you want to keep them. i recomend buying ones that look good on you that you really like. if you are stuck between two that both look good on you that you like then just get the less expensive ones.

pretty much, go for cheap ones, but don't buy them unless you like them.

If you mean sunglasses....get ones that suit you and that are approved by the applicable standards board.
if you mean prescribed glasses...you will find that the cost of the lenses
Single focal - $120
Bi-Focal - $180
Multi Focal - $250

its the frames that cost the most, not the lenses.

the ones that cost more. The cheap ones only if they are like crazy looking or the latest trend that you know will fade away by the end of the summer

believe me, buy prescription glasses. I have ruined my eyes with reading glasses you buy at over the counter drug stores. I started out with 125 strength and now i use 250.

i would have to go with cheap glasses, that way i can change it everyday if i wanted to with the style that i want and never have to worry about losing or scratching it...expensive ones?umm, that'll only make me worry. cheap or expensive, if they're prescription, they will have the same grade.
