it depends on your metabolism, but wouldn't recommend it as a long term solution to losing weight since it'll probably lead you to an eating disorder of some kind. just try reducing your food intake and go on a low carb diet with lots of veggies and some fruits.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

You will not loose much weight by starving yourself. AND whatever weight loss you achieve will likely be temporary.

You will not loose much - because your metabolism will slow down when you starve yourself.

Your weight loss will probably be temporary because once you start eating again, you will make up for, and thereby recover, the loss.

What you will get by starving yourself - is a bad nutrition day. Depriving your body of nutrients is not a good idea. If severe enough, you will leave yourself more vulnerable to disease.

Better to loose weight by sensible diet + exercise.

With absolutly no food but with plenty of water a 5'10,180lbs person can lose from 5 to 20 lbs depending on how active he is... You can count on your physical and mental health degrading too though. I know this much because being a Marine during the push through bagdad it was hard to have time to stop and eat because we were go so fast the supply lines couldnt keep up. I had eaten as little as 2000 calories in one week and lost 40 lbs in a matter of 1 month.

You won't lose much weight that way, your body will
start conserving energy. And you'll probably wind up in the hospital.

My sister ate nothing but one turkey sandwich for lunch every day for a week and passed out at the end.

Calories are only half the equation, you have to have enough to survive and then add in your calorie-burners- exercise.

none. when you starve your self you build up cravings, which is not good. when you actually do eat your body will force to eat all the things it has ot hadd in that week you didn't eat, causing all your progres to be deleted. it is even possible to gain wieght. don't do it. just eat lighter. or drrink water and juices for a week. if youjdo that don't go cold turkey, ease your self into it. be sfae. don't hurt yourself. let me know how it turns out.

it depends on how fat you are to start off withbut typically 5-8 pounds for a woman closer to 10 for a man, with a long termsutainable of around 3 pounds a week....by the way the long term is by dieting not starvation starvation you would die

if you stop eating for a week and then start eating you will have a rapid weight gain because your metabolism will slow down and try to conserve as much energy as possible, when you eat again the metabolism is still slow and your body immediately converts it to fat, just go for some exercise and eat healthy
