is it cheating for you to give a guy your phone number, and then agreeing to go for a drink or to the beach at night? i had no intentions to do so... well, the guy was hot, but i still dont want to cheat on my bf. i just want to keep options open.

Well if you are doing this secretly then to me it is definately cheating because you have a boyfriend. If you have told your boyfriend about this other guy and he has no problem with you meeting him for drinks or phonecalls then go for it. Just don't do it behind the boyfriends back. Would you want him to call a hot girl and meet for drinks behind your back?

As long as you won't sleep with the new guy and your bf knows about you seeing other people, it doesn't consider cheating on your current bf. Besides, you always have a right/option to look for a better person to get married to.

if you're really into a relationship, you shouldn't worry about "keeping your options open" really. I really don't think it's a good idea, but it's up to you. One thing can lead to another.............
