Everytime I tried to play videos online, my windows player has a green screen, which block all the images.
It still not work when I updated the version.

no it sounds to me liek you're missing a codec. The easiest way to do it is to download a free realplayer. Realplayer downloads all the codecs alot easier and then you reinstall the newest version of windows media player. Should work fine. Adn if that doens't work you could have a video card problem.

If you updated to windows media player 11 beta, that would be your problem right there. Many people have had nothing but problems with it. WMP 11 bata, is still just a prototype meaning it still has some bugs that need to be worked out.

update your java, your flash player, and media player, something is not working among those three

try using another software rather than wmp, for example try using media player classic , it is free and great
u can also download a player for quicktime & real audio files (real alternative & qicktime alternative)
