i would write a letter of complaint stating the date, time, location of restaurant ,, to the main headquarters,, (keep a copy of the letter for your files),, google the restaurant name,, you should be able to find the corporate address and phone number and address,,, state your reasons for writing the letter in a nice way, but let them know the quality of service you received was totally inappropriate,, you should hear back from them within 2 weeks, if not,, send another letter, requesting a response to your first letter,,, no,,i don't think you can sue,, but you can also call the better business bureau and include them a copy of the letter you wrote,,,, hope this helps,,, i know the feeling, i had crappy service once also!!!

If you are truly upset, there is a way to possibly correct the problem. You need to file a complaint.
If you think it was just the employees, not caring you can call the manager.
If this is a common problem at this location, or there was a manager on the floor when this happened, you can call the local office of the chain.
If you want to really bite back hard, you need to write a letter to the local office.
No matter how you do it, you need to be professional and polite!
Be ready to the them the date, time and what you ordered, and details of how you were treated.
Tip, while I don't care how your English is on Yahoo, however, you do need to use correct English when your correspond with the management.

Honestly I would say that you should have them broadcasted on the news. I mean poor customer service is sad and now a days when you enter certain places of business you arent greeted at the door. I mean its just a normal thing to me. I am used of it. When I go out and I dont like the service I leave before I order anything. if I am not properly greeted then I know that the service is degrading and poor. Majority of businesses do discriminate and think that the customer wont do anything about it. Like Dennys for example they have been sued numerous times for discrimination. So I mean i would say report them, you dont deserve them you are an asset to their business. The customer should always be right. Walmart slogan is "customers first". Every one should be like that..............

I agree with some of the others, the best thing to do is to call the management, if this is a problem that he does not know about, just maybe he will do something about the incompetent workers. You may even get some thing free out of it, managers/owners would rather that, than you telling everyone you know to stop going there.

Tell everyone you know not to go there. I wouldn't get the local press involved as you might get a lawsuit slapped against you for slander. Trust me, bad word of mouth for a business is devastating. You could also call the manager of the restaurant and tell them about your bad experience.

Move on
or
Go to the manager and make a complaint. Tell people you know about the bad service in this particular restaurant. Most importantly, don't eat there anymore, forgive and move on to better things.
I don't know why I am answering this question. Revenge is so passé and amounts to nothing. A better place will have your money.

You don't mention how busy they were or any other details. How do you expect anyone to comment in your favor without knowing any facts. It's your right to contact the manager if you have a complaint about service not here in Q&A.

Call the restaurant during the day and ask for the manager. If this is a chain, ask the manager for the Regional Manager's name and number.

As for now, there's nothing you can do. there's no used crying over spilled milk.
The best thing you can do is not to go back to that restaurant anymore.
