I recently realized that I may be spoiling a guy friend/potential bf. He has a house that he wanted to fix up so I helped him with his garden beds. I bought him part of his plants and helped him plant them. Do guys like to be spoiled?

Everyone likes to be spoiled babe. First you have to realize that your not spoiling him, your only helping him, there is a huge difference. Spoiling is buying him a Rolex for no apparent reason, a few plants is no big deal thats just helping him around the new house.

That's not really spoiling him... Spoiling people would usually include expensive things. Helping him with his house is a nice thing to do.
I don't think you should be spoiling anyone especially that guy, he might end up walking all over you.

Guys love being spoiled, who doesn't, but that is a sure way to be taken for granted. If you give/give/give, you will actually get little. Sad but true. Make sure you are also getting a bit spoiled yourself.

absolutley... however don't be fooled into his needing help... spoiling turns into taking advantage of REAL fast.. next he will be asking for money and to make him every meal... if that is your deal then go for it...
