Ok, so I ve seen the rest of the answers, and I dont know how they are comparing any of them with a Singapore Sling. If you like the "sling" then here is my most delicious recipie that I give to my customers often:

Grateful Dead: (in a pint glass packed with ice)
*1/2 shot vodka
*1/2 shot gin
*1/2 shot triple sec
*1/2 shot rum
(you can sub the first four ingredients for any Long Island mix)
*Fill with Sweet "n" Sour mix leaving 1/4 open at the top of the glass
*Slowly trickle 1/2 shot each of Chambourd and Blue Curacao on opposite sides of the glass, giving a "bleeding" effect. Almost like a tye-dyed t-shirt!

My customers have described it as "a sweet margarita" or "a strong raspberry lemonade"

If you like Singapore Slings, I think you will love this drink.

B52's or Grand Marinier when relaxing, otherwise, Wild Turkey's Rare Breed with a twist. Make sure your bartender knows the difference between a twist of lemon or lime and a wedge. A twist is simply twisting the rind with the fruit cut off, and putting it in the drink. The acids released from the twisted rind couteracts the bite from 110 proof alcohol without messing with the flavour of a wonderful bourbon. If you're looking for a new sweet mixed drink, try a Sloe Gin Fizz. If you're looking to get slammed, and fast, a Depth Charge is SURE to tear you slam out of your frame after about 2 of them. It's a shot of Bacardi 151 rum, lit on fire, and dropped into a glass of your favorite beer. Be ready to chug, because you'll chug it or wear it. I've seen many a Marine (as well as myself) ripped apart on depth charges.

Mine is a double Southern Comfort and sprite with a shot of lime in. Or double vodka with lime on the rocks. Very nice but we have to stop drinking so much. hehe
