Actually it probably wouldn't work to well - THC, the active ingredient in weed, is fat soluble not water soluble. We used to make "Potsghetti" - melt some butter in a pan, add your weed and fry it a bit, then add a bottle of sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
I've also made mushroom tea with magic shrooms - THAT works!

Actually it depends on the quality of the mjane.
It must be steeped for quite a while and doesn't really taste all that good. But, I did it and not as good a buzz as brownies or shrooms in stuffing.
