I'm new to relationships and dating and all that kind of stuff. Recently I met a guy who is three years older than me and we hit it off. I let him know that I was interested in him and that I wanted to get to know him. Whenever we were together, early on in the friendship, if you can call it that, he would always touch on me, like massaging my neck, touching my butt, tickling me....I didn't mind the contact, but I wanted to know if this was going anywhere, so I asked him if he liked me....he said that I was a nice girl but that he and other guys like him were only interested in one thing.....I don't have to be specific, do I? I asked him if he would ever change, but he said no. What should I do? I like this guy but I don't want to disrespect myself by letting him touch me when he feels like it... afterall, I barely know him...but I still want to know him...help, I'm really confused!

If it were me, I would definately not get involved with this guy unless I was able to keep it as friends only. Also, I would no longer allow any touching of a "romantic" nature. I think neck or back rubs are ok as long as that is all. You don't want this guy to disrespect you no matter what, and the quickest way for that to happen would be to allow "romantic" type touching even though you know that he will not get involved in a relationship with you. But remember one thing, he was honest about how he feels, and you have to at least respect that! Good luck!

What are you confused about exactly??? You already know he has only one thing on his mind where girls are concerned, I gotta give him that, and the fact that he was up front about it! By touching, "petting" whatever, it definitely is disrespecting you, and if you continue to allow it, its gonna eventually turn into something more. So, with that I say, get away while the gettin is good! And believe me, he'll just move on until he finds someone who doesnt have any self respect, get it??

I think that you have answered your own question when you said "I don't want to disrespect myself" He was honest with you.He told you he was only after one thing.He doesn't want a relationship,he doesn't want to get to know you,he just wants what he wants,and then he'll move on to the next.Save your self-respect,and a bit of pain.Run---

You are experiencing an infatuation only.This guy has clearly said his intentions.So. if u respect yourself get rid of him asap.Otherwise u might get into a lot of trouble with him later.I assure u that you can meet a lot of better people if u give urself a chance.There is nothing to be confused about, its quite straight fwd.Cheers!

Look for a new guy one that likes you for yourself and not for what he thinks you'll give him. Guys that only want one thing leave you once they get it. Don't loose your repect for yourself by being blinded by your feelings. It is hard but you will not regret it later on.

if the guy just wants to have his way with your body then he doesn't deserve you...you really need to forget about him and find someone who really wants to be with you. i know it's not easy, but it's the right thing to do. I mean, you're not his sex toy or anything, and he needs to understand that.
