Baby, let God (and the proper authorities) handle it.

It's not that you shouldn't be hurt and angry, or that his crime does not warrant punishment - because it certainly does - but you deserve to be free. Not to have blood on your hands.

God will see that he gets what he deserves. Trust Him to handle it. Work with the authorities if you are able.

Other than that, he is not worth one more minute of your time and energy. You need all that for healing and moving on with your life.

Even if you could have your ultimate revenge - whatever that may be to you - it would never make up for what he did.

In time, after you have expressed your feelings and processed them, it's best to forgive him. Not best for him. Best for you.

Forgiveness is a gift God gives you. When you forgive, you let go of the hurt and the rage. It does NOT mean that you have to have a good relationship with the person that hurt you, but you release them from the debt their actions created.

As long as you are angry and vengeful, you are tied to that person. They consume your thoughts. Even today, he is stealing a little of your life from you. Forgiveness sets you free from him. He will have no place in your mind. Forgiveness is freedom.

Please understand that I'm not telling you that you must say you forgive him today. Or try to make yourself feel forgiving. Please don't feel pressured to forgive. I'm just saying that vengeance is not the way.

For today, use every bit of rage you feel to get through the process of grieving and healing. Sometimes the only way out is through, even when the way through is painful.

You deserve to be free of this. Don't give him this power over you. Don't obsess about him. This is a time to heal you and move forward, free of any vestige of him.

For every rape that is reported, there are many others that aren't. Few rapists are one-time offenders. Chances are very high that whoever victimized you did the same to others and is planning to do it again.

If you care about preventing future victims, it is your responsibility to go to the police. However, it is quite possible that nothing will be done about it. In the end, it is less evil to kill the rapist than it is to allow him to continue raping others.

Yea, its a sin...I went through the same thing I dont even know who it was and I just pray about it. God will handle it in his own way. 2 wrongs never make a right. I went to a therapy and she gave me a bat and i let it all out well most of it. And it felt good I acted like it was him.I was innocent an clean and he made me dirty and theres nothin i can do about it. But other then dont do it aint nothin else i can tell you.

No a rapist is the same as a murderer to God and should be to us also.

Deu 22:25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:

it is definitely not a sin to seek help of some professional.. say a counselor..
Meditate on this if you can...
which choice is best for u:
1. Revenge(another name is justice).
2. Forgivance(includes forgetting too).
3. Perdition(by killing the crime in the criminal)

While I consider rape one of the most heinous of crimes, it is not yours to mete out judgement. You ask if it is a sin...yes, murder is a sin. Let God sort it out according to his laws, and let the courts sort it out according to ours. Neither will be pleased.

"19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." - Romans 12:19

who knows threw your sufferings you might save or help others who are suffering to the point of giving up. Stand strong your better than the destroyer. don't go to his level. In gods grace dwell.

Yes it is. You want to do it for the wrong reasons. Get some counseling. Talk to your church pastor. Join a survivors group. Do something to help you deal with this horrible thing that has happened, to you.

I would never judge you for doing so. Often i have wanted to see those that hurt me that way die a long and pain full death. but to free yourself from such emotion is a much better way. the longer you stay angry and hurt the longer they take your personal power from you! don't give them anymore than they have already taken. you can be happy, you can be healthy, you can trust again, and yes you can even love and feel love but you are the only one who can give yourself those gifts. give them to yourself so that you can smile, love, laugh and most important live again!
