The principle of Jesus' teachings do not tell others how to live their lives. It is to direct people who dont know how to live their lives and know that they do not know how to live their lives how to live their lives. If people think that they know how to live their lives, by all means go. God will not stop anyone from doing what they want unless you are chosen. He allows all to do what they want. This is a biblical principle. Christians dont have much rules. Augustine said it simply," Fear God and do what you want." Bible short summary of commandment "Love others as yourself." Many Christains fail to exhibits the victorious lives that the bible preaches. Churches and Christians must recognise this fact. In fact Mormoms have far better testimonies in terms of their lives rather than Christians. Christians shouldnt be telling others what to do before they get their act together. But they should be telling others about how God is changing their lives. And if God isnt, then please dont say anything.

I think that is something you need to ask each individiual in question. Backsliding is something god talks about whole heartly. I guess in an ethical sense they dont have a life and also need to interfer with someone elses. If your life is messed up then why not do someone elses. I think this question is a good one for all to analze within themselves. But if they cant then they n eed to go back to church and seek god more in there lives. Christians are perfect, but nosiness is in nowdays i hear. Everyone needs to see their own skeltons in their own closets and stay out of others. But like i said noseiness is in and they need a little more training in the moral and ethical issues.

Real Christians, followers of Jesus Christ, won't tell you how to live your life. Their job is to introduce you to Christ. All too often though, a legalist, or right wing fundamentalist wacko will get a bug up their butt and pull a "holier than thou" form of witnessing. This gives Christians a bad name.
I follow Christ, and I have more issues than a news-stand. I can't even begin to tell you or anyone else how to live your life. All I can do is say "Hey, give this Jesus a shot." He loves unconditionally and forgives. That's just the kind of God I need.

The rules are hard to follow but every christian tries to follow them as close as they can . They try not to brake them intentionally or unintentionally. But if everybody would follow the christian rules the world would be a paradise.

Because it is easier to find fault with others than look at yourself and see them. It's also easier to do that then put the work into changing what needs done with yourself. The old saying of clean up your own backyard before you start on others applies well in this situation.

You haven't met all of us. I cannot keep all the rules because I am not perfect. I don't tell anyone how to live. Although I cannot keep all the rules I have met people who have come pretty darn close.

Because they believe that if they folllow certain rules or don't break other rules they will get to heaven. This isn't how it works, they need to believe that if their heart is in the right place when they make EVERY decision no matter how big or small that that is how they get to heaven.

Christianity is not about rules. Anyone who thinks that doesn't understand Christianity.

Because they just can't get a grasp of the biblical concept of:
”Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measurement ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote (speck) that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and them shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:1-5
It's funny how a lot of people that call themselves Christians forget some of the verses in the bible (especially the Golden Rule - "Do unto others.."). Hmmm.

Atheists, pagans, etc., have no rules to follow so a few Christian views may bother you.
