It's both. Any really intimate relationship shared with another tends to be complex. Some of the compromises/things you do for love are very easy and fun. But, the issues/problems that can arise can become very difficult. The trick is to choose a person who is just as commited to your needs/pleasures/dreams as you are to theirs. Also choose a person who is willing to work thru the hard times. Relationships are seldom 50/50.....but the balance should be close.

I think that love is very hard cause both people in that relationship have to want the same thing. They have to learn to communicate and be one with each other. They have to learn to accept the bad and the good points of the other person equally. They have to be able to speak their minds and stand their ground but still be able to see things from the other persons point of veiw. There has to be a lot of trust in order to make love work. And they both have to feel the love and show the love that they feel to one another otherwise everything falls apart and that is what makes it so hard. They also need to realize that when they are having a bad day that they cannot take it out on their partner but talk to their partner about what is wrong. There is so much that needs to be done to have a fullfilling and loving relationship with another person

It's easy to fall in love but you have to work at it once you are in love. Love is both the best feeling in life and sometimes the thing that hurts the most. So I guess that love is both easy and hard.

love is hard it doesn't come easy at first it does but then it takes work and you both have to work at it I don't know if it is the love you have to work on as the relationship but if the relationship falls apart then soon the love will be gone I think about the first 6months to a year is pretty easy after that it takes work and time and commitment honesty and communication

It is easy to hate and hard to love, because caring for others requires empathy, and an intimate relationship requires open honest communication and this is a most difficult thing to do when your emotions are involved, emotive thinking is the lowest level of thinking and the most powerful, when we learn to turn off our emotions for a minute and use our critical thinking minds to resolve issues, rather than our emotional ones to fight, we are usually enjoying a successful relationship, however this takes a great deal of effort and is so much easier said than done

Love is both. Falling in love is usually the easy and fun part. As with anything else, there can always be rough times that can make love seem to be "hard", but that's life. :)

Hard because when you have bad days and rough patches it hurts like hell and feels like your whole world is crumbling...
Also think of all the people in love with people who dont feel the same> that must be pretty hard?
Easy because when it is good... it is really good and no matter how bad everything else is, you feel on top of the world.

Love is very much like LIFE in general, sometimes it is easy, sometimes it is hard. Love will not be exciting for anyone of us if it is just one smooth, easy ride. We have to see what makes loving hard for us to understand what real love is all about. Fate cannot just throw you straight balls, sometimes curve balls are necessary to keep you on your toes.
Besides, is it not more fulfilling to have the love that we fought real hard for? :)

Love is fun, sometimes hard, but the loving part is easy, it's just hard sometimes to agree or I don't know how to explain it. It's a mix. Just when you find it, enjoy it! GOOD LUCK!

I have been in love twice and it hurt and sometimes it feel good. But in my opinion it's hard as hell cause you have to go through so many stages of love. You have hard times so to me it's hard, but when you all caking it's easy.
