If its wings are clipped, it's probably an escaped pet. Put a found ad in the paper. Take her to the vet to make sure she's healthy. If you can't keep her and no one claims her, the vet can probably help her find a home. If you are willing to keep her for a while, you can feed her cockatiel or parakeet seed, and maybe some occassional veggies. Keep her in a semi quiet area of your house so she won't get stressed. Look up as much info as you can about caring for pigeons so you know what to do.

If the wings were cliiped it is probably someones pet. If you want to make the effort you can try posting something in the lost section of your local newspaper or taking the pigeon to a shelter where people may try looking for it. Or you can just keep it.The feathers won't grow back for 4 to 5 months from the time they were clipped.

It's probably an escaped pet because of the clipped wings, you could try to put up posters for it and see if anyone come to retreive it. But, if you're ready to keep it, I suggest you do, but if you can't then call any animal shelter and they'll take him/her. But if you are keeping it, it's ok--the wings grow back and it'll be able to fly again. Feed it regularly any type of seeds (nearest Shoprite or any store) and water as well. Keep it in a congestion free enviroment if it's in the house. They feel trapped and captured around too many people and objects. Keep it in a window and mostly outside with you watching, it'll help loosen the pigeon up.
Then it'll slowly start to gain your trust and he'll be on his way. It's your choice, good luck!

Take her in and love her. If you can't call the vet or put a ad in the paper. If her wings are clipped I bet she belongs to someone.
Good luck.

Check to see if she has an I.D. band, most likely if she does then she may have an owner. But if, not then maybe you should consider keeping her or taking her to a shelter.
