i know nothing of mocking. I know that many people require proof of the existence of anything.

I don't mock god since I don't believe in one. Why are you non specific of what you are talking about. Generalities are an easy way to start trouble where there is none. Who was doing these things and when and where? Does he really exist to you? He doesn't to me. You are arrogant and dogmatic with your beliefs and wonder why you are mocked. I personally think the jews duped you into believing in a non existant god to further their interests and you are one of the long line of sheep that follows these fairy tales of a god of abraham. There is no god. Get over your hate inspiring lies.

Many dont mock God, its the idiots that think they know God that they mock. I witness many 'religious' folk who think they know and understand God but they clearly do not, and yet they have the cheek to condemn others. I believe that there is not a single person on this planet that knows God, let alone whether it 'exists' or not.

They aren't mocking God. How could they? They are mocking us for believing in him. They think that we are the cause of all the world's problems when we are not. I'm not pushing anything off on anyone, as is often claimed be be a characteristic of Christians. I'm just on here trying to answer their hateful questions as honestly as I can. If they stop asking the questions I guess I will stop telling them the truth that they hate to hear so much. I'm glad they are asking the questions. I haven't found one that I couldn't answer yet. They say there are contradictions and I explain them away. The Bible is difficult to understand especially if your goal is to not understand it.

So...who's this god bloke then...? Would you still cry if I mocked Santa? I don't *refuse* to believe, you pompous fool, I simply choose fact over fiction. Why don't you!? "morals!" You bleat. Religion does not have the monopoly on the moral decency of individuals, kid.
"Look around, he is everywhere!!" You desperately cry...No, all I see is life evolving. "The words of god!" You scream! Were *actually* the words of men with 'Free Will'(meaning *they* chose whether to elaborate or lie when penning the bible, depending on the politics and ethics at the time)or do you think god broke the rules to 'guide' them, so voiding the whole *purpose* of 'Free Will'???
So tell me again, please! Why should I believe a lie?
Stop letting others think for you. That way, you'll 'see the light'...

I think that we mock God because we are constantly getting him shoved down our throats and judged for not believing (just like now) and the only thing we can do against it is mock it. We can't prove it isn't true anymore than you can prove it is but the difference is that if you want to believe in god then we'll leave you to it but a lot of the people who do believe damn us for disagreeing, perhaps if you guys stopped chastising us for having different beliefs we'll stop taking the piss out of the one thing that you hold sacred. fair is fair. be the change you wish to see in the world. don't mock us, we won't feel the need to do the same.

1 Corinthians 2:14 in the Bible says this; But the man who is not a Christians can not understand and can not accept these things from God. They sound foolish to him because only those who have the Holy Spirit within them can understand what the Holy Spirit means. Others just can't take it in. But the spiritual man has insight to everything, and that bothers and baffles the man of the world, who can't understand him at all. How could he? For certain he has never been one to know the Lords thoughts, or to discuss them with him, or to move the hands of by prayer. But, strange as it seems, we Christians actually do have within us a portion of the very thoughts and mind of Christ.

I think that Christians push too hard for non-believers. I think Christians need to change how they attempt to convert others before they act. They really cause people to be turned off by the religion, more than they turn on that's for sure. Their answer to everything is have faith, but they never say WHY have faith in God and Jesus instead of believing in Satan and some other evil character no one has ever seen.

The fact that many people mock God indirectly points to the direction that they believe that He does exist. Or that His existence threatens theirs. We mock at many of things which we are powerless against. Like we laugh at our ministers or government or US.
Would anyone want to mock Pegasus or Hercules?

Does the existence or non-existence of God matter?
Is it wrong to murder, rape, and steal merely because God says so? If God told you to get up tomorrow and kill everyone you see, would you do it?
Would a truly benevolent deity demand praise and worship from humans? Would he only help those who believe in him and pray for help, while condemning all those who don't to hell?
Does it take the promise of an eternal reward to convince you to help your fellow humans? Is the threat of eternal punishment required to keep you from harming them?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you are fundamentally evil at heart. For your sake, I just hope the hell you so adamantly believe in doesn't really exist. If it does, you are sure to experience it first-hand.

Becose there is a growing dislike of Dogma, and most christians (wich i asume becose there the only ones that call there god god).... are the worst at blindly following a Dogma with out ever even questioning it or tring to make a religion out of it.... They say they found religion but all they did was find some one elses rather than there own. For the christians that have found there own religion I have no problem with.
