because he was out preaching beliefs that they didn't like and believe in.
there were no Arby's when Jesus was alive but if there were he'd probably like them.

If you actually took a look at history, you would notice that the Romans killed Jesus.
Not always everything your paster or priest says is true, you're better off searching for the REAL truth than listening to the anti-semetic views of others. The pope even announced that the Jewish people didn't kill Jesus a while ago.
Assuming that he really was crucified at all, the gospels show that he was crucified (not a Jewish, but a Roman punishment reserved exclusively for those guilty of crimes against the empire), in accordance with Roman (not Jewish) laws, by Romans (not Jews), for breaking a Roman (not Jewish) law forbidding sedition against the Roman Empire.
Someone like you should think twice or even READ and do some RESEARCH before saying something so trivial and stupid as this.

Why would anyone go to Arby's... God awfull food.... and to expencive for what you get....
on the other queston. It was only a small number of leaders within a sect of the Jews who were reposable for haveing Jesus arrested... In Fact, The Death of Jesus was a sacrafice. Which Jesus willingly went to. If He had not, and He could not have done otherwise, There would be no hope for any one and God probably would have ended it all right then and there.
A study of Jesus' life and teaching will reveal The Truth of His Sacrifice. And what it means for you.

Actually it was pre-ordained (predestined that the Jews would turn on and kill their own Messiah). So filled with fear were the Pharasees and Saducees that they hated anyone that preached against their teachings (and at this time in Israel, Rome was VERY careful of sedition or of anyone preaching any kind of overthrow of Romes rule). So any talk of a Kingship outside of Ceasar's made the Governors in the area very excitable. Many people would be executed just to stop a fight or riot that MIGHT NOT EVEN BE HAPPENING, after all, there were no rules against police brutality and Roman soldiers were the police.
Anyone that congregated together was suspect, whether it was for religous reasons or not. This was a time when you could be seized and imprisoned and no one would have to be told. You'd just disappear. The Jewish religous leaders were 'responsible' for the congregating together for worship of the Jewish people and they didn't approve of this new cult that sprang out of Judasim called Christianity.

Many of the Jews therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what he did, believed in him, but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.
So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the Council and said, "What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation."
But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, "You know nothing at all. Nor do you understand that it is better for you that one man should die for the people, not that the whole nation should perish."
He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. So from that day on they made plans to put him to death. John 11:45-53
I think Jesus would have liked Arby's since He liked to hang out with people and enjoy a good meal.
"As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, "Follow me." And he rose and followed him. And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples.
And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:9-13

Because that was God's plan for salvation. You don't have to understand, you just have to believe.
It is disrespectful to talk about Arby's and Jesus in the same sentence.

First the jews denied His deity. They did not like that fact He was Claiming to be God, Jehovah. Because of what appeared to be zealous prcatices and His claim as the true Son of God the people wanted him crucified. Even Pilate was a bit concerned about crucifying Christ, trying to find away to let Him go... The people were entrenched in their own religious traditions and Christ basically clashed with some of their pharisetical beliefs.

I think jesus would love arby's but would hate bob evans (he was jewish, didn't eat pork) also the jews didn't kill jesus. the romans did. but since rome became the seat of power for the church the italians decided to blame it on the jews. if you read your bible and your history it is quite easily apparent who killed jesus. He was crucified, a roman punishment. in the bible the traditioinal hebrew execution was stoning. In fact jesus stoped ajewish crowd from stoning a woman they suspected of adultry. they werent going to crucify her. as to why jesus was crucified. that is really unclear. I suspect it was for treason. there seems to be some evidence that the disciples were militant anti-romans. and in fact one of the disciples hacked of a romans ear when they came to arrest jesus. if they were so peacful why did they have swords?

Jesus was killed by the Jews because they had been around for so long following set ideas and rules, but when Jesus showed up, he began to challenge their ideas and rules. The Jews were obviously not happy about this, so they had him crucified.
