Is it common for some people to have so little pubic hair that it's barely noticable? I'm fully adult, over 35, and half my family are blond(e)s and redheads, in case you thnk that might make a difference.

Anyway, I've always been hugely embarrassed that I have so little, ah, fluff. It's pitiful.

Anyone else willing to admit to this? I swear *I* won't laugh.

Everyone is very different as far as how much hair they have on their body. There is no norm so I wouldn't worry about it at all.

How can you be embarrassed about something as absurdly irrelevant as pubic hair? An infinitesimally small percentage of people will ever see it. Having a third nipple sprouting from your forehead would be cause for legitimate concern but sparse pubic hair is pretty much nothing to be concerned about. Let's face it, an entire industry has sprung up to help women emulate what you have (or don't have) naturally.

yes, actually I am 17, and i am a red head. I have blonde pubic hair, and very little of it. If you ask me it's just less to shave, or get in the way of any action down there. it's actually a good thing. Some people have thin hair or go bald....we just don't have any pubic hair :) lol!

If you're female - god I'm jealous. If you're a guy, I can understand feeling a little embarrassed about it given the manly-man stereotypes that are out there.

I can tell you that I have been with two men in my life who were not very hairy anywhere, and I loved it. Smooth.

If you started out with a lot of pubic hair and then it thinned out dramatically, that might be cause for alarm. (It does thin out a little with age, though.) Generally speaking, it might not be all that common, but having sparse pubic hair isn't freakishly uncommon.

I'm roughtly your age. Consider yourself lucky then. Some of us are loaded with it - so I've got the opposite problem than you. Constantly have to shave or wax. I'm embarrassed to have so much hair down there.

This is not something you should be ashamed of. Some men even shave their hair down there.

Besides, it makes the women's job of going down there a whole lot easier if there's less hair to contend with. :)

You are fortunate!!!! Count your blessings!!!! Why would you be embarrassed? People who have a lot shave and/or trim it to get like you are naturally!!!! It must make oral sex a lot better for your partner!!!! I just don't understand why this is a problem!

Do you really think anyone gives a damn about your pubic hair? Get a life, OK?

Women like it that way, the less hair down there the better.
