I woke up early in the morning like 5am to buy a fresh fish. My daughter wanted to drive for me from Arcadia to LA. It took about 30mins because this was the end of the year 2013 and freeway was absolutely no traffic. When we arrived the market at 610am, there was traffic inside the parking lot even though this area has enough spaces. When we stepped in the market, there were many people holding a box in their hands and picked the fishes, and weighed them and paid. i was absolutely happy as i saw the name KABUKI, which is my favorite restaurant, on the big tuna fish chunk on the shelves.

Yes near seal beach next to Trader Joes off of PCH. Just look for the Trader Joes in Seal Beach and the store is right next to it. You can also get pretty darn good fish at Wild Oats.

Santa Monica Sea Food has sushi grade seafood and lots of great varieties.It costs more ,but the quality is really worth it if you want the best.(<>oooo
