I wondered the same thing a few years back. As I was traveling the great United States I came across a guy who worked at a buffet. He had told me he was from Brazil. He had told me that he came here because of the freedoms we have here. He told me that his father was very wealthy there and that his father was very upset that he left. He said that he came here all by himself and got a job at the buffet. He said within 6 months he was able to send for his fiancee who was still in Brazil. At the time she was 7 months pregnant and not working. He had 3 jobs here. He said that he loved this country so much more than where he was from. That he would rather live in his apartment with little money than to live back in Brazil where his father had a "mansion" and servants to work for him. He said he can't understand why people who are born here don't appreciate what they have. Then he said they would appreciate it if they lived any place else.
Just for the hour I were there, I came to understand how great this nation really is. The state I was in of all places was Ohio. I laugh when I think back to that day back in 2001. I can't believe it's already been 5 years. I sure hope he is doing well. He's a very intriguing man with a lot of knowledge. After that day I wish I could only thank him for changing my views of this world.

because there aren't too many other countries where you can answer a question like that negatively and live to tell about it. Thank the men and women fighting and dying for the right to say "its not" God Blessed America a long time ago and he is still blessing it everyday.

If you think it is, It's going to be the best country to live in. It's up to your thought and feeling, not any bit of any one else.
