I've been suffering from a head cold for the past few days, and my ears have become very stuffed up. It sounds like I'm under water, its really driving me nuts. (And my family, I have to crank the music just to hear it! ;-)

I appreciate any suggestion, willing to amputate at this point. lol

Make an appointment with your Dr. Never accept medical advice from anyone else.

I've done these things a bunch of times called 'ear candles'. You get them at any health food store. It sounds scary , but is actually really cool because you get SO much wax out of your ears. You put one end in the entrance of your ear & light the other end (you need 2 people). Somehow the fire creates a vacuum and sucks the wax out. It's really not scary or dangerous because it burns really really slowly. Now I want to do them again!! Some musicians swear by them!

lol
Hope you feel better soon.

Murine works really well. They sell it at drug stores..

But you'd have to have a family memeber help you..What happens is you lay down on your side..while the person puts the stuff in your ear. Then about 10 minutes alter..you get up..dit down somewhere while you have a bin or some container on your shoulder while the person squirts water in your ear to get the stuff out..it'll feel a bit weird..but after it's all done..your ears should be totally unclogged.
Hope that helped.

Try holding your nose and blowing. Try chewin gum and swallowing. If it doesn't go away in a couple days, have a doctor examine your ears. You may need a decongestant.

Go to your Ear, Nose & Throat doctor. I went and had my ears cleaned out and I had no idea what I wasn't hearing until he was finished.
