Honey for the life of me I will NEVER understand why people do not question their doctors and ask them these questions.
If my doctor were to tell me that I would have a hundred questions pop into my head and would not leave that office until they were answered. Only your doctor can talk to you about your body and specific situation. Even though there might be people in similar situations and sites that can tell you the basics only your doctor can tell you for sure what it means to you.

Two Spleens

Up to 25% of people have an extra or "accessory" spleen, sometimes more than one. It is considered a normal variant. Usually the extras are much smaller, but act as kind of a reserve. If your spleen has to be removed for trauma, the smaller one/s can enlarge somewhat to take over the function of the original. If this is your only problem, you are quite lucky, and need to go out and find something more important to do with your life, like helping other people.

RE:

That you can donate one without having to worry?

I'm not even sure what the spleen is, but it seems there's always something odd about it. Mine is larger then average. Why don't doctors ever explain fully when they tell you something?

My suggestion is at your next appointment you should ask the doctor.

That you have two spleens. It's an organ that you usually only have one of. I don't know what having two would do. Ask the doc.
