Wow, you got him at 4 weeks, that is YOUNG to be separated from him mother... you're not supposed to separate them until 8weeks, at the very least! He NEEDS his mother's milk, it has all of the antibodies and nutrients that he needs... formula won't help that much. PLEASE take him to a vet before you have to bury him!

This kitten was far too young to be adopted!!!You should have known this, people should NOT adopt pets before knowing the basics about the kind of animal they are adopting!!Try baby formula, it seems weird but it actually has all of the vitamins the kitten needs. The kitten formula is a rip off don't waste any more of your money, do invest in one of those tiny kitten bottles,it may remind him of the mother's nipple and make him want to eat, dip the nipple into warm water to simulate the mother cat's body heat, also he is not a human so don't flip him over like a baby when you try to feed him, it Will only make it harder. Kittens are strange little animals and don't usually go in the litter box when they are taken from the mother too early as their mother never got a chance to show it to them, your best bet is, once he is eating, keep him in a dog crate or small room with a litter box and food and water, in a few days he will get it. If he has an accident pick it up and put it in the box, but don't reprimand him, he doesn't understand and you wil only make him scared of people. Most importantly if this kitten does not take to the formula get him to the vet as he may have worms. If he does not eat soon get him to the vet quickly!!!!

You should not have gotten this kitten until it was at least 8 weeks old, it still needed it's mother for nursing and she also teaches
them how to use the litter box. This is not a good situation and I don't know who would give you a kitten this young.

she needs to be checked by your vet but first she is to young to be taken away from her mother. she needs milk and also she needs stimulation to make her go to the bathroom. if not going to bathroom then she won't eat. to do this take a warm wet paper towel and wipe her butt. keep doing this till she goes. this needs to be done on an hourls basis. once she goes to the bathroom give her some baby formula. not much about an eyedropper full at a time. DO NOT let her over eat as this will kill her. her stomach can only hold so much and that is why she must be fed every hour and stimulated right after eating

I give kitten Kitty milk and can food. Real soft and mix a little kitty milk with it. I put some on my finger and put it in the kittens mouth. You can also delude can food and milk and put in a syringe and feed it to him that way. Has the kitten been checked for feline Leukemia? We had a cat with Feline Leukemia and did not eat.

i dont wonder about that one....how could u take it away from its mom in such a young age???thats a serious thing.... they have to stay with their mom at least until they turn like 14weeks....and even then they still want their mom.
If u dont go to a vet quick....that lil poor thing gonna die in ur hands... I raised many kiddens and i know that its not a good thing if they dont eat.... so if u really love ur cat go to the vet or u risk ur kitten to starve to death....

I could be wrong but, that is way too young to take it away from it's mommy. you may have to try soft cat food or milk. it is still young,so you will have to be very careful. use a bottle even to see if he drinks some water or milk.

You need to take it to the vet and get it checked. They may have lied to you about the age and it is too young to eat on its own.
