I think that this camera is great for an all around point and shoot. The camera is weatherproof and the screen is bright enough to be seen outside in sunlight. The controls allow you to keep it just a point and shoot or select a scene mode in different circumstances.
Where to buy?
Camera Store. On line is O.K., but you won't know what your getting until you open the box. I work and an old-fashioned-real non-commissioned, store that provides the service after the sale. On line prices for this camera are as low as $230.00. That is the actual cost from Olympus(I also buy the cameras for our store). If you buy this camera for $230. then I believe that you either have to buy some sort of accessory kit for an additional fee, or you will be charged for items that normally should come in the box(battery, charger) or lastly it could be a Grey market camera (Or made by Olympus, or not made for use in this country) either way, you get what you pay for.
Olympus has set the MAP(minimum advertised price) to be $299.95.
Hope this helps....
