your eyesight does not have to be perfect.

to apply for the AFROTC scholarship. If you are going to be attending college this upcoming semester you can't get the scholarship for this semester--so just talk with a ROTC instructor at the school you wish to attend.
I can explain how to get into flight school via the US Navy and US Marine Corps, which I have heard is similar in many ways to getting into the USAF flight program. Do well in school...perfection is something everyone should strive for, but remember that "perfection" is different for everyone. A 3.7 could be looked upon as perfect as a 4.0 if you are involved in activities with a 3.7, or even a 3.5. I know in NROTC (not positive with AFROTC) you can major in anything (underwater basket weaving if you'd like) and as long as you do well you can still make it into flight school...in fact, it's said that history majors generally do better than engineering majors in flight school cause they are trained to memorize. Be physically fit, do well in school, be dedicated to whatever you decide to do.
IM me on AOL IM at smeagolyduck13 or contact me via yahoo if youve got any questions.
o, one more thing
The navy trains the best pilots in the world...(includes the Marines)
SO...
Go USMC or NAVY!!!

You failed to mention what grade you are in, I will assume Jr High or High school.
You talk to your counselor or ROTC instructor
If you are in college ( and I hope not from the way the question is written, you merely go and talk to the ROTC office on campus. There are two programs available.
You would not be assigned possible job untill college ROTC (from my memory anyway) At college if you sign an enlistment, you will request a MOS ( job) you can request pilot, not specifialy fighter, merley pilot.
You will have to fullfil all of the contract requirements and meet all of thier physical standards at several points during the time.
After college you are commissioned and then will be called to active duty in a training assignment.
** The military always has the right to change your job asignment to something else if you don't qualify for that spefic job, if that need is no longer needed, or for national secuirty reasons ( and a long list of other reasons)
