problem cleaning her backside. It gets very dirty and smelly. we have bathed her, took her into the vet, put her on a diet, but it is still bad and it is real irritated all the time. Plus she scoots her but all over to relieve herself.HELP! And dont tell me to get rid of her that is my baby we are talking about. Suggestions?

Go to your local farm supply store and get some Bag Balm. It's the same stuff they put on a cow's udders to keep them soft and prevent soreness from the milking machines. The Bag Balm will help heal your cat's soreness and prevent soreness from returning.
The butt-scooting behavior is indicative of worms. If your vet hasn't checked her poop for worms, get another vet.
Have your vet check your cat's anal glands. A cat has scent glands around its butthole (that's why cats sniff other cats' butts as a greeting--it's like the cat version of a handshake). Sometimes those glands become clogged, so they have to be "expressed." That means the glands have to be cleaned out, sort of by popping them like a zit.

take it to qualified vet and have anal glands removed, intrusive but effective.

its just a natural cause keep washing her as she wont do it herself

lol...my cat is fat too and i dunno how he cleans himself on top. he does seem to have dry skin or dandruff though. our cats rub their butts on the floor too...maybe she has a dingleberry stuck on her buttocks lol i dunno. keep washing her?
