Am total caregiver for my wife..would like to fix her something special for meals instead of bland...yuk...stuff...she is very special to me.....

just go online and look up diabetic meals through a search engine like aol.com. or you could go to the library...they have plenty of books on that. i just learned somethin from watching paula dean today...it's peanut butter cookies that diabetics can eat...if she likes peanut butter that is. mix 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup splenda, 1 egg, and 1 tbsp vanilla...roll them up into balls and put the crosses on top with a fork dipped in splenda, after they are put on wax paper and then bake...waalah.

first of all u need to stock your pantry up with some sugar free and carbfree itiems..like sugarfree and carbfree, ketchup,mustard.artificale sugar, breads, chips,snack cakes,puddings,,jellos,cookies, barbaque sauce,milk,crackers,mayo,peanut butter, jellies,ice cream, anything you need to cook with can be found sugar free or carbfree,then you can learn to cook a sugarfree and carbfree life.the taste is there just no sugar or carbs....hope this helps
