No, only those who accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord will go to Heaven. All others will go to Hell.

Actually, there is one school of thought in Christianity that believes that, when Jesus was dying on the cross and said "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do," he was not just speaking about those who were killing him, but about ALL unbelievers. Thus, according to this school of thought, everyone gets to go to Heaven, whether they are followers of Christ or not (but still because of Christ's sacrifice.) Very conservative Christians believe that non-believers go to Hell, period. Most Christians probably fall somewhere in the middle and believe that, because they have accepted Christ as their savior, they will definitely go to heaven and that they don't really know what happens to non-Christians.

I am a Christian, and I tend to believe the first scenario I described above. It doesn't make sense to me that Christ would ask forgiveness specifically for his killers, but not for others who didn't choose to follow him.

No they will not go to Heaven.....the Bible states that only those who are born again shall see God and live with Him for an eternity......as for only bad people going to hell....the Word doesnt say that .....it states that all who call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved....not the good at heart or the purely wicked.....we are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God....that is why we need a Savior.....that is why we need Jesus and that is why He died on the Cross to be our propitiation ....He bore our sins that we may spend an eternity with Him in heaven...so if you lived a life of goodness and have not accepted Jesus as your Savior you too will spend an eternity in hell......I dont make this up it is in the Word of God......

I think everyone goes to heaven. I was told that if you're bad you go to hell- if your good you go to heaven. I'm a Catholic but as far as I'm concern if you haven't committed any terrible thing you'll have a place in heaven. But atheists don't believe in God so I don't think they would care where they'd go.

There is no heaven or hell. We are comprised of atoms ,if you want a greater meaning then content yourself that you may well be part of a human who finds a world peace eventually (as we decompose or are cremated our atoms are liberated and assimilated into new organisms).Your own personal beliefs will give you peace, that is THE ONLY TRUTH,organised religions preach fear, exclusion and are judgemental of others ironically contrary to their own doctrines!!Be good to people .If you manage not to hurt people then our species may survive.BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER!!

Christians believe that atheists will not go to heaven, if they do not accept Jesus and do not become born again, they will go to hell.

Jesus / God knows your heart, so on your death bed you cannot say.. ok like man, I think, to be on the safe side I am going to accept Jesus now.. if you are NOT a believer ak. have FAITH.
God knows it.. and acting like you've accepted Jesus before death hoping to get in.. won't cut it if you do not mean it..
You have to mean it in your HEART...

no, they don't.

they believe atheists, queer people [they can't stop being queer, so their entire lives are "sinful"], feminists, people of other religions, etc. will burn eternally in hell.

whichever minority's oppression is most discussed in a certain generation is the minority whose hell-boundedness is most screamed about by many christians.

atheists will go to wherever they believe that they will go. if one believes in heaven, then they will probably go to heaven. if one believes in reincarnation, then they will probably get reincarnated sometime. it all depends on your (or their) religion...

I think they don't go anywhere...since they don't believe in anything. Perhaps that's why there are hauntings????
