Shakayamuni Buddha was a proven historical figure with quite a following, and an excellent teacher. I'm a Buddhist, and his teachings bring great joy to my life.

Buddha never claimed to be a god or God, just a simple man with what he believed was a path to truth. He never claimed to be the only path, merely *a* path.

Blessings!

the buddha is a teacher.
The Buddhist approach is from a different angle. We’re not willing to believe in doctrines or teachings or things that come from others. We want to find out the truth for ourselves.

I believe in Buddha. You will find no faults in his teachings. If I were to follow anyone - it would be him.

I do. He was the true Prince of Peace. He said everything Jesus said FIRST. When you look at the actions of the two prophets followers, you'll see the truth of which man brought some peace to earth.

I believe he lived and had some good teachings. We all can learn something from them. That's about as far as it goes for me.
