No. 1, Verses. 14 to 19, was created on the 4th day.How can the vegetation come into existence without sunlight, and how can they survive without sunlight ?

The purpose of questions on ‘Bible and science’ is not to hurt any Christian’s feeling. If while questioning, if I hurt your feelings, I do apologize in advance. The purpose is only to point out, that a God’s Revelation cannot contain scientific errors.

Please.

In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The "Mighty God" in the next verse.

JESUS CHRIST IS: "THE GOD ALMIGHTY"

Isaiah vs 6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

this is the stupidest question i have EVER heard, others of the like will be just as stupid. Simple answer, If God created both, could not God sustain the plants that HE created, for a whole whooping day, until HE makes the sun,,,,gee.
A little extended answer, liht was made on the first day, light sources were not made until the 4th day. Light existed without a source until the fourth day. If you really wanted to analyze "LOGICALLY" the texts of the bible, you have to find ways of how, what you want to believe can be discounted. If you can't find a way in that, then it is a safe bet. If there are ways to discount it, find out how tough it would be to counter the thing that supports what you want to believe, then you miht be able to stand on a foot to argue a concept.

But this question, "oh oh, God screwed up, he created plants first, they couldn't survive a whole day without sunlight." Existence exists ONLY because God allows it to, not because it gets sunlight. HE made the system that they need sunlight, but at a moment, God could choose to blink it out of existence, and if HE can choose that, surely HE could choose to keep something alive despite the fact that it doesn't have sunlight yet.....oy

Please read back in Genesis 1:1-5 You will see that He has already created night and day and the verses you speak of are a re enforcement of that fact of his Creation.
If you have time, please read the book of Leviticus. As you read it you will see some of the laws about purification and cleanliness, while the Egyptians and other local cultures had vile eating habits of unclean foods, and putting feces on sores to heal them. The laws of the bible given to Moses and his people were medically and hygienically, centuries ahead of the others.
There are other examples of how the bible and science agree, even though the bible does not make a claim to be a scientific book. It is a letter from a loving father to his children on how to survive this wicked world, please our father and to avoid the wiles of Satan the devil! Also the hope of salvation, for all righteous human, you and me both!
By the way, that was a fine question, nothing to be insulted about.

001:001 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

001:002 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon
the face of the waters.

001:003 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

001:004 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the
light from the darkness.

001:005 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called
Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

001:006 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the
waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

001:007 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were
under the firmament from the waters which were above the
firmament: and it was so.

001:008 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the
morning were the second day.

001:009 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered
together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it
was so.

001:010 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together
of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

001:011 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb
yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his
kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

001:012 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed
after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in
itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Read that chapt again... God said "let there be light" it was God's light that first shown on earth. Not the star we call the sun.
Note: The Bible is not a science book. But, all Science if from God and good. It is man's mucking it up that has caused all the harm from missuse of what God has provided.

another point... God is The Creator. He can do what He wants how He wants. If God wants Plants to grow only from His light without any star involved... those plants will By God Grow!!!!!

Because God is omnipotent. He can be any where at any time and everywhere all the time. He is all powerful. Besides the Bible doesnt say that the plants grew, it says that He created them. And the next day He created the greater and lesser lights. I dont think that plants would have a hard time surviveing just one day without sunlight. Hope this helped. God loves you!

You REALLY got it wrong. You don't deserve an F today, but it's the lowest grade I can give you.

Gen. 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light", and there was light.

Grass, vegetation, herbs, trees comes in at verse 11.
No scientific error. Error is on your part.

It was created goof ball. It didn't have to evolve over millions of years-it was created that same day. There was already light, just no sun.
If God can speak light into existence, He can create vegetation that can survive 24 hours without the sun. No problem there.

If God wanted plants to grow without sunlight, they did.
And the bible is not a scientific discussion. It simply denotes who did it and gives us His word of love.
Try coming to the truth of Jesus and leave behind a false religion.

You know my friend, by your incessant effort to prove that your religion is the right one by associating it to science, there will come a day that science itself will rise above yours. How can two opposing views prove each other right? It cannot be prevented that it will only prove each other wrong. Science wholistically depends on reason, logic and proofs while religion in faith. Are you not too confident in your faith in that you have to resort to using science to deliver a viewpoint with regards to Islam?
