My friend just went to the doctor and found out she was pregnant. She wants to have an abortion but she says the doctor told her that her body may not be able to handle it. Her best bet is to try and make sure she gets her body healthy over the next nine months b/c it wont be ready for and abortion is this possible?

Aside from being told to eat alot of healthy food and juices b/c of her body lacking calcium, iron, and protein she was also told to get plenty of rest b/c her stress level was extremely high. Anyway the last thing they told her to do was have sex b/c her boyfriends semen is very healthy for her fetus. Is this true? Is semen healthy? Can it help her give her body some extra vitamins and stuff?

It's true that abortion is very dangerous. Childbirth is a natural process, whereas abortion is violent and unnatural. The abortionist must first force open a woman's cervix, which is very tightly closed to protect her baby. Then, he inserts sharp instruments into her womb without being able to see what he is doing. This is why abortion is called a "blind procedure." You can read about the dangers of abortion here:

and learn about all aspects of abortion here:

Semen is unlikely to be of any benefit to the child or mother.

The doctor may be telling the truth but I am guessing the doctor is LYING. The doctor sounds like he/she is against abortion and is lying to your friend. Typically a woman's body may not be able to handle a PREGNANCY not the other way around.
Tell your friend to see another doctor somewhere else! Not the same clinic/ doctor's office. If she sees a different doctor in the same practice she might get the same bull crap. So go to a completely different doctor that does abortions. Have her call "planned parenthood" and ask them where to go for an abortion. And if what she heard was true. It probably isn't true.
Also having sex during pregnancy is fine, wont hurt the baby.

Uh...hello?

Abortion, statistically is much safer than childbirth. If your body "can't handle" an abortion, it can't handle the demands of carrying and bearing a child, either.

And your friend won't get any nutrients from having sex.

This is all nonsense. This doctor is a quack.

She needs to visit a real, reputable clinic and get some straight-up information so she can decide what she wants to do and make sure that, whatever she does, she's properly cared for.

I don't know much about abortion, but semen is good for health, and while pregnant. (especially while trying to get pregnant) Semen has natural enzymes and nutrients that a woman's body does not make. A man strengthens "the mother of his children" by giving it to her (it's wasted if it flows back out, she must absorb it or swallow it) All of it's nutrients are available in natural foods. It comes out in his ejaculation in such small amounts that you'd have to have it at least three times a week. Protein, vitamins but most powerfully glycoproteins and selenium in semen fight cancer.

It takes great care in your diet, to beat the health benifits of semen therapy.

Your friend should go to Planned Parenthood to get straight up info.
WARNING: There are some "CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTERS" which are run by anti-choice groups out there. These people are very dangerous but appear to be legit centers. (They are funded by $60 million in taxpayer money for 'faith based' groups).

Semen is healthy, but 'comes' in such small doses as to have little or no benefit. However the guy contributing the semen will enjoy it.

YES IT IS TRUE SOME WOMEN'S BODY CANNOT HANDLE THE AFFECTS OF ABORTION...I DON'T KNOW IF SEMEN IS HEALTHY AS IN PROVIDING VITAMINS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, I HAVE HEARD THAT SEMEN CARRIES PROTEIN, BUT NOT SURE IF THAT'S FACT OR NOT.. BUT I DO KNOW THAT SEMEN WON'T HARM THE FETUS...UNLESS HER BOYFRIEND HAS AN STD OR SOMETHING....WE ALL KNOW SHE CAN'T GET PREGNANT IF HE EJACULATES INSIDE HER SO THAT'S A PROBLEM SHE WON'T HAVE TO FACE WHEN HAVING SEX...GENERALLY THEY SAY SEX IS HEALTHY WHEN YOUR PREGNANT.....

It sounds really odd that she could handle childbirth better than an abortion. An abortion is the least risky of the two on a female body.
