Gumbo = Leftovers + Okra
so
Gumbo - okra = leftovers
i.e.Yes. Gumbo is yesterdays leftovers + okra...is what I learnt in New Orleans. Take yesterdyas leftovers. add water. Add okra...and you have GUMBO. All you need now is Poboys..mmmmm
