yeeeeaaaaah. um, try and find another player like Nero or something. or you could just re-burn the tracks from the CD you just burned and burn it again. but the reason I would recommend Nero is it can make the songs virtually seamless by deleting the 2 seconds between tracks. i have green day bullet in a bible and when i made a copy of it to put in my CD book, i thought that i had put the original CD there, rather than my stereo. Nero rocks. but its your preference. WMP is crap, but thats just my opinion.

oh. memorex is fine. thats what i use and i use CD-R's. unless you are trying to burn more onto the same disc. that cant be done without

1. A CD-RW
2. erasing all data on the disc

There are many free programs to burn CDs. WM doesn't do a "great" job of burning them or transferring to portable devices like the SD card on my PDA. Personally, I use Nero 6. BTW, I wasted half a stack of Memorex DVD-Rs because of the manufacturer's lack of quality control. They were not made by Memorex, but a subcontractor.

Ya, thats a side affect of burning music with Windows Media Player. You should just burn them stragiht onto the Cd itself.

if u r trying to burn it on the same cd it might be because your using a cd-r instead of a cd-rw.

tyr the cd-rw (rewrite) maybe that will work better!

Good Luck

Don't use Windows. Itunes is the way to go! It's easy to use, organized and simply excellent.
