Now here a question I do not have a problem answering. First of all you have to know what a true christian is. And to be That is to be CHRIST like. Every one wants to be like some one else but have it ever occurred to you That to be like Christ is The ultimate goal too salvation.? This a life time walk and you have to consider The cost is This worth it? I believe that it is We are selfish individuals and this flesh is a mess. It wants all the money, all the attention, wants to sleep with every ones husband or wife. This flesh (body) wants everything and don't want to give up anything. JESUS came to this earth to show us how to treat one another, how to behave how to live in this world and the one to come. He taught us how to be like HIM. What to eat and what not to eat. What day we are to go too church on (sabbath) the 7th day, not the first day of the week. what days we are to celebrate as GODS holy days. There are so many things we don't know about HIM but we say we are Christians and we say we love HIM, but are hearts (minds) are so far from HIM. We walk con tray to what HE has told us to do and the fear of the LORD is taught by the precepts of men. So if you are a christian, I mean a true christian then you will walk the walk and talk the talk. Need I say more??

What is a true Christian? 95 % of America says they are christian but are they really? A christian in my oppinion is a person who truly beleives that Jesus is the son of God and died on the cross for our sins and rose again, a true christian will change from the way they are and continue to grow in Christ. They will still make mistakes and must ask for forgivness of their sins daily as we are all human so we all sin.

This I gotta see! All the "real" Christians who aren't ignoring the genocide in Darfur and malaria & AIDS in Africa. All the "real" Christians who are speaking up for the oppressed. All the "real" Christians who acknowledge Muslims as God's children.

I've been told many times that "real" Christians have never committed atrocities -- so where are they now as we slaughter the people in Iraq after causing anarchy there?

Can't wait to see what "real" Christians are doing to bring peace on earth.

The Roman Empire executed all "true Christians" over 1500 years ago.

A true Christian, at a minimum:

Follows Hebrew laws regarding diet and rituals;

Attends a synagogue and is taught by a rabbi;

and,

Does not worship Jesus as God.

I think very few are true Christians due to the prejudice against gays,Islamics,Jews and people who are Christian bet differ from other Christians.People who bomb abortion sites cannot be called Christian.If they want towork to change the law they are entitled.I think a true Christian should be more concernrd about his own behaviour than correcting the behavior of those with whom he disagrees

I would agree with the person who state "Trick question, every christian believes that he or she is a true christian". My point is however; who is it that defines "true"?? There are several definations of the faith, christian and who here has the right to tell me or even think that I am or am not a true christian. I guess you could say I believe what I want to believe.

A true christian affirms that they are accepted by God on the basis of the finished work of Christ alone.

Another way to phrase this question is "On what basis are you accepted by God"

If an appeal is made to their own works or goodness then they lack the sufficient conviction of sin and death necessary to bring them to true faith in Christ.

Good question.
