I've got a lot of links to wildlife carers from a lot of countries on my site, at
http://au.geocities.com/leaswebsite/links under "Wildlife Assistance" - just click on them all, click on your country and state, have a browse, 'phone them and ask their advice.

Very very best of luck.

I raise ringneck doves and used to raise pigeons and have read all the answers that have been posted before mine - the best one is Rachel's - pigeons feed their babies a "milk" that they produce, so trying to feed a baby rice or seeds or bread mixed with water is not going to benefit it. Baby pigeons go from their parents milk to seeds and water, so until the chick is fully feathered and moving around on its own well (trying to fly), weaning it from the bird milk is not an option. Good luck!

If you have someone who knows what he/she is doing close, let the baby go there. If not, follow the links here and see how you can feed it yourself. It's fairly simple and the bird wil become a very tame pet if you'd like to keep it later.

Do not use milk. Pigeons don't digest lactose.

The parent pigeons feed them "milk" a half digested grain-paste from their "stomach". . . it's REALLY hard to immitate. They do have some powders on the market that could be fed but it doesn't always sit well with the baby pigeons.
Good luck!

Once I found a baby bird and I called the vet. He told me to feed it peanut butter mixed with a lot of water. And to feed it with a dropper. Best of luck!

Please take the baby Pigeon to a wildlife rescue & rehab center near you, feeding them requires knowledge, if not done properly you will kill the little bird.
I appreciate your wanting to help, you shine, but it would be best to take the little one to someone whom knows what they are doing.
Here's my site, I rescue Pigeons.

Thank you again for wanting to help this little bird.
