Seoul is very busy and crowded. Just be careful. The subways are easy to figure out.
If you like shopping, there is a mall called COEX that is good for shopping. It is in Gangnam. The Han River is nice. They have boats that go down it. It divides Seoul into half and is the only nature you'll see in this big city. If you are looking for foriegners/English speakers, Itaewon is the place to go. Lots of shopping, restaurants and bars.
The DMZ is woth the trip but you have to go as part of a tour.

How long are you coming for?
Why are you coming? For work, play, travel?
If you want any specifics feel free to message me.
It's getting pretty hot here, you wont need ANY winter clothes, but bring an umbrella. The rain comes and goes whenever it pleases. You can on the other hand buy an umbrella anywhere.
Temperatures are in the late 20's early 30's (celcius) at the moment, but will get hotter.
If you are coming for vacation, I would recommend you to go either to Gang Won Do or Busan, where some decent (not fantastic) beaches are. There are swimming pools in Korea, but they are over crowded, so is the sea.
Learn some basic Korean, or at least how to read it (possible to do in a day), it will help you immensley.
Try to figure out the subway system, its much cheaper and easier (at night time safer) than taking taxi's.
Buses and Subways finish around midnight, and believe it or not, they finish earlier on the weekends. Dont get caught out in the middle of nowhere. Public transport is very efficient, and cheap. Invest in a transport card (available at any convenience store... name: Kyo tong card êµíµê°ë). It will give you discount when you take the transport, and helpful when transferring between buses and subways, you wont have to spend as much.
Anyway message me if you need more specific details.
Enjoy your time here, there are plenty of great things to do.

Check out DongDaeMoon Shijang for great shopping, literally whole streets filled with shops selling clothes, material to make clothes, used book stores, etc.
Oh and this person asks nearly the same thing, tons of info I'm sure will be helpful:
