I am doing the music for my brother's wedding. They want the traditional wedding march but not done the traditional way. They don't want the organ version of it. They want like an acoustic guitar version of it or something like that. Has anyone heard a version like that? Any suggestions would be great!

When I got married, I didn't want the traditional wedding march either. We went the fun and unexpected route...when the wedding party walked down the aisle, we used some very typical baroque style music. But just when the doors are closed and then opened again for the bride, we used the 20th century fox movie intro and then marched down the aisle to the opening music from Star Wars. I think it was really fun and very memorable for those in attendance. Just make sure that your brother remembers that the wedding is for him and his bride to be. Make it fun. Don't be afraid to be different.

Went to a wedding one time where instead of the traditional wedding march, they plaid "There She is just a walking down the street. Singing do-wha diddy........" It was a hit.

But, yes, have heard the traditional one done on guitar and other ways. String group can it do really pretty.

I went to a wedding where they played Bach for the wedding march so I think their can be any song that the bride and groom want.

I am so not the tradtional type. I just remarried in march and wore white. :o) Thought everyone in attendance might need a good laugh. But I walked down to Yanni's "In the Morning Light". Congrats to the bride and groom!

i'm with you, i did no longer want the classic wedding ceremony march the two. I walked down the aisle to the Royal Phil Harmonic's instrumental version of "Groovy form of love" John Lennon's "Love" would be great

Have you ever downloaded music online? You could try downloading your own on Limewire. You can make your own CD with whatever songs you want all on 1 cd.
