Sorry, haven't heard of "Floppy" Joe's. But here is a recipe for "Sloppy" Joe's that are the best I've ever tasted. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup catsup
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
1 tablespoon Chili seasoning
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons onion powder or 2 tablespoon chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 garlic clove minced
1 pound ground beef

Serves / Yields
6 servings

Preparation Instructions
Mix all ingredients except ground beef, and onion and garlic, if using fresh. Let mixture set until meat is cooked. Brown ground beef in a large frying pan, add in garlic and onion, if using fresh. Drain fat from beef. Add in other ingredients mixture, stir well. Simmer for at least 15 minutes.

You will find a lot of recipes on the Taste of Home Magazine site. This magazine prints really good and easy recipes. I'm going to try the Italian Sloppy Joes for my family tomorrow night, though I'm going to take a pass on the Pumpkin Sloppy Joes. Hmmm. Not my style, I guess.

Enjoy!

I have a cousin named Joe, so at our family gatherings we call them sloppy mommies and daddies. LOL. Here is our not so special recipe

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon brown mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
salt
pepper

Preparation:

Brown ground beef and chopped onion in skillet and season with salt and pepper. While beef is browning, combine ketchup, garlic powder, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar in a mixing bowl, stirring until brown sugar is dissolved.

Drain beef and return to skillet. Add sloppy joe sauce and mix with beef and onion. Reduce and simmer for about 10-15 minutes.

Serve on favorite rolls or hamburger buns.
