They don't float at all. Mine is still at the bottom of the crawdad pond.

I'm not a fan of inexpensive home exercise equipment. You're better off spending your money on running shoes.

A good rowing machine / ergometer is the Concept2 although they can be pricey.

my ex used to be on the rowing team in college-6th seat. she used to work out on what they call an urg. a center pull rowing machine.this kept her upper and middle body and legs in great shape as well as her heart. she is still doing this workout after 15 years and has never been healthier.

They give you an excellent cardiovascular workout and work several muscle groups in the body at one time

Rowing machine is just like any other cardio machine.....row hard & the movement affected the arms , legs ....not on the bottom.......This is a good machine......enjoy

try an eliptical machine, youre in an upright position and it really kills you. or try belly dancing.
