In order to know if heaven is a joke or not or if hell is real let us frist ask this question...do we have a good God or a bad one? To find out what kind of God we have let us look at our circumstances:
a. Every person whose highest ideals anywhere is found in some form of goodness or kindness. These are the forms seen in highest admiration like love , sharing, peace, etc. Even if you believe in a god or not, you are looking at a higher ideal that is good. On the way to that goodness, sometimes people get it the right way of doing it while others twist it to achieve the goal. But the ideal is there for goodness.
b. Next if we have an all-out evil god we wouldn't be free and would be shackled right now. If the god is evil we should be in chains being controlled to the whims of this powerful being.
The same freedom we have that is being used to deny and disobey God is actually one of evidences we have a good God. A God that doesn't force things on us and lets us choose. A God who wants us to come to Him out of love and not out of being forced.
Anyway you looked at it God exists and if you look closely He is a good God and the best thing that you can ever get in your life.

If God really exists then He should be a God who has the power to dispense punishment and reward. If not then he is a lame duck god wouldn't he? If he is a lame duck god then he is no god at all.
Then there should be a heaven where He will take those who accepted Him. Vice-versa there should also be a hell to those who never accepted His invitation to koin Him in heaven.

If heaven was just a joke from God - then no one would be on earth now. Since we all lived in heaven before we came to earth - it is not a joke!

what kind of dumb *** would ask that question!!!!!!!! Heaven is written and documented in thousands of books around the world stating that there was a heaven and it was real. It would never be a joke because otherwise we would have no other choice than hell to go to when we die. If you don't believe in a heaven there is no more hope for you

Earth is where man (and you) are.
If heaven was just a joke from God....
Heaven is where God is.
Earth is where you are.
Eternal life is how you get from earth to heaven. No joke.

Your question might be worded backward. Imo, it should read, "What if God is just a joke from heaven?"

if heaven isnt real ,,then we still benefit from living as if ,,,as we are more likely to have a peaceful and full life with friends and family
