Your "pocket puggle", designer mutt breed could end up being 15-20 lb, maybe even more. It sure won't fit in a pocket. Why they ever started breeding those 2 dogs together I will never know. 2 such different breeds.

Pocket Puggle

I have no idea what a pocket Puggle is. A Pug is a certain size and a Beagle is 13 inches for the smallest variety. Sounds like a bunch of crap to me!!!! Maybe they mixed something else in too!!! A lot of them are doing that!! I have heard or Westies being added so they shed less!!!!!!! Why don't you just get a toy breed of something that you will have a better idea about. Even if the Pug appears small. you would have to know what the parents of that dog looked like. This is why when breeding these "mutts", there is a wide variety of looks and sizes in the litter!!!!!!!!!! Hope you don't pay a lot of it!!!!

You do realize a "Puggle" is simply a mixed breed? The way genetics works...when you cross breed dogs, the genes for characteristics of each breed "mix". There just plain is no way to predict what the resulting offspring will look like, and each pup in a litter can look very different from its siblings. ...and, do you realize there are also 2 sizes of Beagles? "The guy at the place" is guessing. I just don't understand why there is such insistence on this mixed breeding craze...and then making up some "cutesy" name as an excuse. If someone wants a Beagle, why don't they get a Beagle and know what to expect. If someone wants a squished in face Pug, buy a Pug and you know what to expect. But to insist that a mix is actually a breed, then be surprised when it doesn't "look like" or "act like" what they expected........well, it is proof why we "arrogant" dog folks are correct in what we say. You have a little mixed breed puppy. Take care of her, train her well, and she will be what she will be,

Never heard of the breed. A Pug can be between 15 to 18 lbs. and a beagle is supposed to be less than 20 lbs also.
If there is such a breed, nothing has been told to us Pug lovers.
Sorry I was not much help.
